Arrive in London

Welcome to London, the capital of England. Upon arrival you will be met by our tour manager who will help you with your transfer to the hotel and check in. Later in the evening, take a ride on the London eye. The largest observation wheel in Europe, the London Eye has become, just over a decade after it opened, a potent icon of the capital, as clearly identified with London as the Eiffel Tower is with Paris. And indeed, it performs much the same function -- giving people the chance to observe the city from above. Passengers are carried in 32 glass-sided ‘pods’, each representing one of the 32 boroughs of London, which make a complete revolution every halfhour. Along the way you'll see bird's-eye views of some of London's most famous landmarks, including the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, the BT Tower, St. Paul's, the ‘Gherkin’, and of course, the River Thames itself. You're free to move around inside the pod during its voyage, although everyone tends to congregate in the northern half to look out over the river and the heart of sightseeing London. ‘Night flights’, when you can gaze at the twinkling lights of the city, are available in winter. Proceed for dinner at an Indian restaurant. Stay overnight at your hotel.

London to Harwich and Hook of Holland

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed on a guided city tour of London with photo stop at few of the attractions such as Buckingham Palace to see the parade and the change of guards (subject to operation). Thereafter, we head to the London Bridge, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square and Tower Bridge. Later we visit the world renowned Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum. After this unbelievable experience, you are transferred to the port of Harwich where you will board your ferry to Hook of Holland. Dinner and overnight stay will be on board the ferry.

Amsterdam to Antwerp and Brussels

After a continental breakfast on board the ferry, you will reach Hook of Holland from where you are transferred to Amsterdam. Upon arrival, visit the famous Keukenhof Gardens, popular for growing Tulips of all hues (till May 16, 2016). If you are visiting after May 16, you will be taken to the world famous miniature city Madurodam. )-a world famous miniature city. It is a mustsee place to get familiarized with all the surprising features Netherlands has to offer. Proceed to visit the Wooden & Cheese factory. Later you will explore the city’s many canals with the Canal Cruise. After this, proceed to Brussels via Antwerp, where upon arrival you will be taken for dinner to an Indian restaurant after which you will retire for the night at a hotel in Brussels/Antwerp area.

Orientation tour of Brussels

After a hearty continental breakfast at the hotel, it is time to explore Brussels. First, take a photo-stop at Mannekin Pis Statue. This is followed by an orientation tour of Brussels city where you visit the world renowned Grand Place, Town Hall, Guild Houses, Serclaes Monument and thereafter, photo-stop at the Atomium—a 335 feet tall structure representing the concept of an iron molecule enlarged 165 billion times. At the end of the tour, proceed for Paris, the capital of France. Upon arrival check in to the hotel and proceed for dinner at an Indian restaurant. We now suggest a grand evening in Paris that includes the world famous Lido Show followed by an Illumination Tour of Paris where you see the magically lit up famous landmarks of Paris. At the end of this rather exciting day return to stay overnight at your hotel.

Exploring Paris

After a continental breakfast, we proceed for a guided city tour of Paris which covers many of the city’s iconic landmarks. At the western end of the Champs-Elysees, the Arc de Triomphe suggests and ancient Roman arch, only it’s larger. Actually, it’s the biggest triumphal arch in the world, about 49m (161 ft.) high and 44m (144 ft.) wide. The tour also includes Concorde Square, the Invalids, the Opera Garnier and Champs Elysees. In the evening, come face to face with Paris’s biggest landmark, the Eiffel Tower. This is without doubt one of the most recognizable structures in the world. Weighing 7,000 tons, but exerting about the same pressure on the ground as an average-size person sitting in a chair, the wrought-iron tower wasn't meant to be permanent. Gustave-Alexandre Eiffel, the French engineer whose fame rested mainly on his iron bridges, built it for the 1889 Universal Exhibition. (Eiffel also designed the framework for the Statue of Liberty). You can climb up the 2nd level of the tower which offers a stunning view of the city. After the Eiffel experience, enjoy a cruise on the river Seine. We then head for dinner at an Indian restaurant and return for your overnight stay at the hotel in Paris.

Paris to the Black Forest

Continental breakfast at the hotel, proceed to explore the Black Forest area of Germany. Although called "black," this very green region in southwest Germany, roughly 145km (90 miles) long and 40km (25 miles) wide, possesses some of the country's purest nature, as well as its most fervent aficionados of everything green. Known as Silva Nigra to the Romans, this once dark and uncharted forest has long since been cultivated and inhabited, but still retains plenty of sky-bound pine and birch trees blanketing the mountainsides. The streams and lakes provide Relaxing fishing and swimming opportunities, while the countless trails entice the wandering spirit. In the valleys village artisans preserve local crafts like clock-making, while drivers enjoy the serpentine routes strewn across the landscape. This trip will also take you to Drubba where you can see a demonstration of how Cuckoo clocks are made. You may also buy one of the original Cuckoo clocks as a souvenir. You also have an opportunity to eat the famous Black Forest cake. After the tour, proceed for dinner in Indian restaurant and then retire overnight in the Black Forest area.

Black Forest to Schaffhausen and Zurich / Engelberg / Lucerne

After a continental breakfast, proceed to Schaffhausen where you can get up, close and personal to Europe’s largest waterfall, the Rhine Falls. After this we proceed to Zurich. Upon arrival we continue on for an orientation tour of the city and then stop for a photo on the banks of the Zurich Lake. After the tour, proceed for dinner at an Indian restaurant and then retire overnight at a hotel in the Zurich/Lucerne/ Engelberg area.

Day at Leisure

After a continental breakfast at the hotel, you have the day off to relax. You could, however, opt for a full day excursion to Mt. Titlis, the highest glacier destination and the biggest ski and snowboard paradise in central Switzerland. To get to Mt. Titlis, you need to pass through a series of three different cable cars. The view changes dramatically from lush green meadows in the lower reaches to permanently snow-clad upper areas. The cable cars, numbering at over 200 fly flags of various countries. Look out for cable car number 73 that carries the Indian flag! The last leg of the journey involves the world’s first rotating cable car called the Titlis Rotair. At Mt. Titlis, you have free time to play and enjoy in the snow, visit the Ice Grotto or just relax at the restaurant. On the terrace on top of Mt. Titlis summit station, if weather permits, you could take an unforgettable ride on the Ice-Flyer, an enclosed ski lift that travels a few meters down the Titlis glacier.. Next, we have kept the best for the last. Visit the 100-metre long, highest suspension bridge in Europe situated at more than 3,000 meters above sea level. The visit is topped off by a delicious Indian lunch at the summit After the Mt Titlis experience, proceed for an orientation tour of Lucerne, one of the six most frequently visited cities in the world. One of the most famous sights here is the Lion Monument, hewn from a limestone cliff to commemorate the bravery and loyalty of Swiss Guards. Take a stroll across the Kappelbruke, the world’s oldest covered wooden bridge, originally built in 1333 over the River Reuss. Enjoy an Indian dinner at an Indian restaurant and return to you hotel in the Zurich/ Lucerne/Engelberg area for overnight stay.

Zurich/Engelberg / Lucerne to Venice

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to Venice and on arrival, you will be taken on an orientation tour of the city. Venice is an archipelago of 118 islands, 170 canals and about 400 bridges. We drive over the Mussolini’s Bridge of Liberty and then take a water taxi ride over the Giudecca canal to St. Mark’s Square at the very heart of Venice. Here, we see the historic Ducal Palace, the infamous prison, the Bridge of Sighs, the exquisite Clock Tower and the baroque splendor of St. Mark’s Basilica. We then visit the Murano Glass factory, where a master craftsman will demonstrate the art of creating the famous Venetian blown glass. After this, you will be transferred to Padova where you will proceed for an Indian dinner and head for an overnight stay at a hotel in Padova.

Padova-Florence-Pisa

After a continental breakfast, we proceed to Florence. Botticelli, Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci all left their mark on Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance and Tuscany's alfresco museum. With the graceful Duomo as a backdrop, follow the River Arno to the Uffizi Gallery, soaking in the Old Masters paintings. Then wander across the Ponte Vecchio Bridge as dusk descends, silhouetting the red rooftops and lengthening the shadows of Florence's tangled medieval alleyways. Finally, sample seasonal Tuscan cuisine in an authentic trattoria. You've discovered the art of fine living in this masterpiece of a city. On arrival, you will be taken for a guided walking tour of Florence. Later go up hill the Piazza Michelangelo, which is on a hill on the south bank of the Arno River, just east of the center of Florence, we get a birds eye-view of the city of Florence. Designed in 1869 by Poggi, it offers a great view of the city and is a very popular tourist destination. Later proceed to Pisa. Gateway to the Tuscan hills, this medieval city of architectural masterpieces goes against type with its young and upbeat feel. Native son Galileo may be long gone but students still come here to study at the prestigious university where he taught. In its heyday Pisa was one of Italy's most powerful maritime republics. Follow its past in the Romanesque churches, piazzas and palaces that line the winding Arno River through the city to the Tyrrhenian Sea. Visit the ‘Field of Miracles’, wherein stands the grand Romanesque Pisano styled marble cathedral. You also get to see the Baptistery and the Bell Tower, known throughout the world as the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Enjoy an Indian dinner at an Indian restaurant and return to you hotel in the Pisa for overnight stay.

Pisa to Rome

After continental breakfast, check-out of the hotel and proceed to the Italian capital of Rome. Upon arrival, we take you to the Vatican - the world’s smallest nation is the seat of Christianity and St. Peter’s Basilica - the world’s largest cathedral, which will amaze you with its size, beauty and splendor. We also see Piazza Venezia and the colossal Victor Emmanuel II Monument, built to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Italian re-unification. Re-live the thrills of historic Rome as you view the ancient Roman and Imperial forums, the Colloseum. Also see the famous Trevi Fountain, where a Roman legend has assured your return to Rome, if you throw a coin over your left shoulder into the fountain. Enjoy your dinner at an Indian restaurant, check-in and relax overnight at the hotel in Rome.

Depart from Rome

Post a nice continental breakfast at the hotel, check-out and proceed to the airport to board your flight for back home.
